A Positive

Well, since we're all getting used to this weird lockdown thing we have a lot more free time. I've found that I'm able to listen and watch everything that I've been meaning to for the past few months. And through all of it I've found that friends recommending things has been a great source of new stuff. I thought I'd share some things for anyone reading to check out. It's a mix of old favourites and new discoveries. Even if you've heard of them before you should absolutely still find them on YouTube.

Maremarcio - Che cosa sono le onde

Arias - Estrellas de Madera

I discovered these two bands a few months ago. Arias are from Chile and I'm not sure where Maremarcio are from.

The Necessaries - Event Horizon

This is one of the best records you will ever hear. I had a little phase where I listened to it all the way through every day for over a month. Yes it's that good.

Teenage Fanclub - A Catholic Education

I know they're a huge band but if you've never heard of them before you need to check them out and this is the record to start with.

Vasudeva - Generator

or No Clearance

I've been a big Vasudeva fan for a few years and they released a new record recently. Definitely check it out.

Maribou State - Manila

I don't know much about these guys but this song is really great.

Hella - Biblical Violence

Mental.

There's a lot more I want to talk about but I'm gonna stop here because I feel like a really crappy wannabe music journalist. Hopefully someone gets some enjoyment from one of these.
